Our expertly designed courses provide students between the ages of 9-16 with the opportunity to acquire essential public speaking and critical thinking skills while having a blast. Whether your child is a novice or has some experience in public speaking or debate, our programs are tailored to meet their needs. WHY BL DEBATE ACADEMY

BL Debate Academy is guided by three basic “E” principles: Evidence, Excellence and Evolution. Our pedagogical model is Evidence Based Learning. We believe that students learn best when we provide them with the skills they need to evaluate information and apply it through the use of evidence. We believe that our students are the future thought leaders of the world, so we require excellence as a mission, passion and goal in all that we do. We believe that in order to advance in life you must continue to evolve to the conditions that are placed upon you. BLDA is committed to helping students grow now only as competitors but people as well.

OUR STORY

The debate program at BL Education Consulting originated in 2014. BL Debate is Vancouver’s premiere debate organization. Through our partnership with the National Speech and Debate Association (US) we are able to offer students unique experiences and learning opportunities. BL debate is the executive partner with NSDA ( National speech and debate association), the sole partner of NSDA Vancouver and the official debate camp provider for Georgetown University in Canada.
